The Dream

 It’s fun, relaxing and a great place to spend time doing something creative.  Imagine That Creations was born out of a mom’s desire to find a paint your own pottery studio that is genuinely kid friendly but doesn’t look like a pre-K class room.  A space that grown-ups can enjoy and get into a little creating of their own.  “It’s so great when families with three generations including teens and toddlers come in and spend time having fun together painting. Its such a great shared experience,” says Tommy, who created Imagine That.     

 

Classes, camps, and KidZ club activities build skills as well as an appreciation for crafting and the elements of art -- color, texture, technique and line -- all while exploring different mediums and having fun. 

 

        The Team

Tommy’s favorite color is #3 Dandelion.  She has had a passion for clay for decades.  Her two boys, Logan - age 14 and Alastair - age 10, love it too!  With masters degrees in social work and public health, owning Imagine That Creations is her dream second career.

Miss Sharon is a part of our Summer Camp and Yea! No School Days Team.  When she is not with us, she is teaching at MECE Pre-school or spending time with her sons, who are in high school and middle school.  Her favorite color is #2 Sun-Kissed.  Miss Sharon is our Queen of Splatter and is often seen covered in paint. Her favorite non-ceramic project is pet rocks!

Miss Maggie is a part of our Summer Camp and Yea! No School Days Team.  She is the mother of three adult children and one grandchild. She has worked in the Palm Beach School District for 22 years. Kids around Addison Mizner Elementary know her as the Library Lady.  She has a passion for baking and all kinds of crafts.  #9 Melon-Choly and # 16 Blue Isle are her favorite colors..

Juliette is a senior at Boca High in the STEM Program.  She loves to edit music, play guitar and paint.  Her favorite color is #15 Peri-Twinkle.

Alastair is the youngest member of our team. He graduates 5th grade this year and is looking forward to middle school. Always there to help his mom (Tommy), he is an expert with tape and loves to paint plates. His favorite colors #5 Candy Apple Red and Blue Yonder.  At 10 years old, he can sponge, paper resist and explain foundations, elements and speckles. He shines in technique and style.

CJ has been with us since the beginning of the 2009 summer and loves to paint anything that has to do with a holiday. She also enjoys working Yea! No School Days and Camp days. She's a senior at Boca High and is college bound. Her favorite colors are #20 Sour Apple and #7 Wine About It.

Theo

Nikki is a senior at FAU.  She loves to paint tea light holders and her favorite color is #12 purple-licious.

Cheryl took early retirement from the US Postal Service after 26 years. She is a seasoned outdoor woman with a passion for traveling, kayaking, hiking, photography and of course, painting ceramics! She loves opening the kiln and being the first to see all the beautiful pieces. Her favorite colors are Teal Next Time and Down to Earth.

Our Commitment to Community

Imagine That Creations, Inc., supports many local communities in many ways. We have redirected almost our entire marketing budget to school publications and signs, rather than commercial press. Imagine That has hosted fundraiser painting nights. We also make donations of gift baskets with gift certificates for raffles and auctions.
